NEW EDITION FOR 2016 - contains more content than ever!
Pole Dance Community is the UK's leading independent group of pole dance instructors which was formed in 2009 to help regulate the pole dance industry.
PDC offer an approval scheme for instructors and their own official grading scheme for students which comprises this syllabus of moves. Each move has the most commonly used name and a list of alternative names submitted by PDC members.

This new and larger edition is laid out in levels and has an alphabetical contents section with cross referenced names that moves are also known as, so you can always quickly find the move you are looking for. The image sizes are bigger so you can more easily see and understand the techniques.

- new techniques and classifications
- bigger photographs
- searchable contents section
The PDC Syllabus is not designed as a teaching aid, rather it is a resource to help the development of pole dance grading and to provide a reference point for names and the classification of moves. It is also widely used by competition organisers to set levels and if you are competing at any level you will find this an essential resource.
Instructors may also find this book useful to chart their own pole dancing progress or that of their students', ticking off moves that have been successfully achieved and making notes about moves that need further development.
